Blyth
Hospital was formerly called John Dingley Hospital and built in Yangliu Lane
(or Willow Lane) in 1897. It was originally founded by a British Christian
John Dingley and later held by another Christian Henry Blyth, thus renamed
Blyth Hospital. Based on it, Chinese government has built The Second
People's Hospital of Wenzhou, a modern hospital with comprehensive medical
service and community functions.
