Outside East Suburb, in 1906, by W.E.Soothill 　 　This is the only photo available that has an overlook of the old city. From it we can have an idea of the whole city 100 years ago. In the vicinity, we can see the ancient city wall which was well preserved. Around the middle are crowded residential buildings and some berthed boats. In the distance, the two towers can still be seen.
